Disney's Big Hero 6 at Theaters November 7th- It gets Two Thumbs Up at Our Home

Today Disney's latest animated film Big Hero 6 is in theaters everywhere!  We are so excited!  We went to the pre-screening and loved the movie.  It is a hit with the entire family.  We have been looking forward to today November 7th to watch it again!
Big Hero 6 is a comedy that is filled with action and brave new heroes.

This is the official boiler plate for the movie:

From Walt Disney Animation Studios, the team behind “Frozen” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” comes “Big Hero 6,” an action-packed comedy-adventure about the special bond that develops between Baymax (voice of Scott Adsit), a plus-sized inflatable robot, and prodigy Hiro Hamada (voice of Ryan Potter). When a devastating event befalls the city of San Fransokyo and catapults Hiro into the midst of danger, he turns to Baymax and his close friends adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago (voice of Jamie Chung), neatnik Wasabi (voice of Damon Wayans Jr.), chemistry whiz Honey Lemon (voice of Genesis Rodriguez) and fanboy Fred (voice of T.J. Miller). Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called “Big Hero 6.” Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring breathtaking action with all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”). The film hits theaters in 3D onNov. 7, 2014. For more information, check out www.Disney.com/BigHero6, like us on Facebook www.facebook.com/DisneyBigHero6, and follow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/DisneyAnimation.

The movie is exciting, sweet, heartwarming, with tear jerking scenes, and filled with friendship and team spirit while encouraging the love for science and technology.

My little ones were at the edge of their seats for the entire film.  They were really engrossed by the story line and the personalities of the different characters.

Two scenes got me sentimental and a bit teary. So, the movie does take you through different emotions.  The emotional depth is definitively there.

In the end, it is all about the positives: working together, caring for each other, being the best we can be and not caring about what we look like or where we come from but rather about who we are.
If you ask me as a parent, many of the values I want the kids to learn and keep for the rest of their lives.

A bit of east meets west feel to the movie.  Great play on integration even by the name of the city where the story develops: San Fransokyo.
The first character you will probably fall instantly in love with is BayMax, but again, the entire gang has something for what they will stand out for you, in a positive way. It is rated as a PG movie.

We are in full celebration mode with Big Hero 6 being in theaters everywhere today!  We have these fun activities for you to enjoy, go ahead and print them out!
